I earned my Masters Degree at Dominican University in River Forest and completed my undergraduate work at St. Xavier University in Mt. Greenwood. I was taught by the Springfield Dominicans here at St. Christina Grammar School. I sat in these very classrooms as a student myself. Now, I'm on the other side of the desk. I believe I became a life long learner because of the teachers I had at St. Christina. Most Summers I look forward to attending various classes to learn something new and different to bring back to the classroom and share with the students to make learning more exciting. In addition to teaching the essential material every fourth grade student should master by the end of the school year, I encourage students to be problem solvers and to develop their thinking skills, both abstract and creative. The students need to use the things they learn in school and apply them to the real world.
